“Golden Flow of Fortune” takes the idea of a “stream of gold” and turns it into an immersive art installation that looks like a waterfall of molten light. Dozens of overlapping, circular bamboo-woven modules hang from the temple’s eaves, as if showers of prosperity are gently falling to the world below. In the breeze they sway like fluttering talismans, symbolizing wealth that never stops flowing.

Each module is patterned with motifs of ancient bronze coins and celebratory flowers. The finely woven golden bamboo strips catch the sunlight and gleam with a liquid brilliance, evoking both the supple strength and the vibrant energy of bamboo craft.

Suspended inside Beigang Wude Temple—the ancestral shrine of the God of Wealth—this gilded cascade resonates with the temple’s traditional architecture. It carries the blessings of the deity, embodies the continuous circulation of abundance, and offers wishes for health, prosperity, and enduring good fortune throughout the New Year.
