“Where nature and people meet, bamboo shows endless possibilities.”
Ching Ke Lin is a bamboo artist who brings this humble material into today’s art world. With the curiosity of a kid, he digs into bamboo’s life-story and hidden strength. By putting old-school weaving skills into a fresh, modern setting, he keeps pushing past the usual limits and invents a new visual language.
His pieces aren’t just pretty to look at—they ask how bamboo connects to the land, to culture, and to our beliefs. Each work turns raw stalks into something that feels almost spiritual, and he loves dropping these installations into buildings, stores, and public spaces so people can step right inside the experience.
Ching Ke has teamed up with brands like UNIQLO, New Balance, Mercedes-Benz, and NOUSAKU, and he’s even built large works for temples such as beigang wude temple and Dharma Drum Mountain. Now represented by Fremin Gallery in New York, he treats every sliver of bamboo as a tiny meditation on life. Every sculpture salutes age-old wisdom while adding a fresh, contemporary twist—making his voice one of the most distinctive in art today.
